The Wine
2021 Cabernet Franc
After decades of selling our Cabernet Franc grapes to Sonoma wineries, we decided to produce a select Bar None’s Canyon blend, using Cabernet Franc, and our one row of Merlot. This vintage has all the characteristics of a unique and delicious red wine. Our grapes are grown sustainably, harvested by hand, and aged in French oak, resulting in wine that pairs beautifully with our favorite cuisines: Italian, Persian, California and French. We know you will enjoy it… Cheers!
Planted in the late 1900s, our Cab Franc vines thrive in the deep, red, volcanic soil of Nuns Canyon Vineyard, in Moon Mountain District AVA, 1,200 feet above the celebrated Valley of the Moon. The vineyard is named for Hugh Nunn, a Scot who settled here in the 1850s. We think it’s the best place to grow Cab Franc — Bar None!
2020 Old Vine Zinfandel
This rare vintage is one of the very few Zins from the 2020 harvest that made it to the bottle. Most of the red grapes were left on the vine due to smoke taint from the Glass fire. This surprisingly delicious Old Vine Zin comes from the lone ton we were able to save. We know you will enjoy this hearty red wine with your favorite cuisine.
Planted in the mid 1900s in Nuns Canyon Vineyard, our St. George vines thrive in the deep, red, volcanic soil of Moon Mountain District AVA, 1,500 above the celebrated Valley of the Moon. The vineyard was named for Hugh Nunn, a Scot who settled here in the 1850s. We think it’s the best place to grow Zinfandel — Bar None!
